The Department of Women's Affairs is now the Women's Chamber Alliance. Become a member of the Women's Chamber Alliance as we celebrate over 87 years of serving the Des Moines business community.

The mission of the Women’s Chamber Alliance is to educate, encourage, support and promote women in professional positions in the Des Moines area through regularly scheduled business meetings.  Professional, legislative, economic and community issues are our primary focus.  A special emphasis is given to encourage and mentor women in the business community.
